    Time to introduce myself since I have been enjoying pictures and comments on The Board. I am a retired educator, and live with my husband, two very spoiled dogs and a cat about 5 miles outside of Soldotna, Alaska. Soldotna is on the Kenai River known world wide for it's marvelous sport salmon fishing. I really enjoy piecing many kinds of quilts, and have had the privilege of taking classes from some well known teachers. Not so enthusiastic about doing my own quilting....there are some really great quilters here...love seeing your work!

    Welcome from the Bay Area of California! We've visited up your way quite a few times - love to cruise the Inland Passage and visit some of the Indian villages to see the crafts.

    You will enjoy this board - there is an answer from just about anyone on anything! Nice folks!
