Thank you all so much for your compliments on my quilt. It was a labor of love for my new grandson from Ethiopia. My son and his wife adopted him and I went along to pick him up. I wanted to make something special for him so saw this pattern with mostly African animals on it and just had to do it. Had it professionally quilted as I didn't want to take a chance of ruining it.

Warm welcome from WV. Go east for a while and you will hit my old stomping grounds. Got to tell you, that quilt just hit me right where I live and my first reaction was to laugh and then to say aloud, "WOW". If you auction it, I want tickets.

Hi, and welcome from St. Paul, Minnesota. My father is from Menominee, Michigan. He, too, was a yooper! We also have a very very dear friend in Meno!
