Welcome from Dallas Tx. I am a Hoosier too, but re-located a long time ago. I'm sorry you lost your Mother. It's not been very long, so just keep trying a little at a time and come on here and talk to us. This group will talk to you. And help motivate you.

so sorry for your loss. i loss my sister pam in june and she was the one
who got me started quilting she did beautiful quilts and also did it for a business.
i cried every time i went into my quilting room. and when i bought my new
machine i cried because i wanted to share it with her. well about a
week ago something in my head just said pam wasnt happy with my stuff
just sitting there doing nothing. yes it is hard and you will get
tears on stuff. but my sister pam is smiling now that i know. slowly get started
and your mother will be smiling down on you and sitting right beside you.

Hello and welcome from Kentucky! I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your mom, but please get back into quilting. This is something that you and her both loved to do so I know she wouldn't want you to give it up. God Bless you and your family.
