Hello one and all,

My name is Al and I'm a recent sewing machine addict. It all started when I wanted a machine to sew leather for my holsters, sheaths, hats, etc. I managed to score a Singer 111W153 and a 29-3. Both of those are close to going into service for me.

Meanwhile, I now have 11 or 12 OTHER machines, ranging from 1886 to 1957. And I must stop. Or, so my wife says ... Often, looking for information lead me here, so I joined. This is obviously one of the go to places for old sewing machines.

Today, I'm going to go post, asking for some cabinet help with an old New Home I gave a new home to this morning.

Hi Al. You might want to check out the Antique and Vintage machine forum here on Quilting Board. They have an incredible wealth of info and help in there.
