Hello ,
Thank you.Glad you like them. It takes me about four to six months to make one of them.
I paint my own fabric and make some of the beads from polymer clay.
I love making them and since they are never washed I can use a variety of fabrics and beads etc. that can't be used on traditional quilts. I can also use many techniqes to add texture to the surface of the quilt like free motion stiching for example.
When I first started making quilts I made traditional designs. Then I tried paper pieceing and made miniature quilts.
One day I was wathcing tv and saw Natalie Sewell on a sewing show and from that moment on I knew I wanted to make landscape quilts. So I have been making them for about 10 years now.
Again thank you
Barb

Thank you . I appreciate the kind words. That quilt came to me in a dream. I had spent the day researching moon gardens.
I love the idea of a garden that can be enjoyed under the light of the moon.
I like making black and white quilts and I love round quilts.
Nice to meet you

Hello Karen,
Thank you. I made this quilt while I was recuperating from breast cancer surgery. My sister gave me a used blouse and I made the trees on this quilt from the fabric.
Very nice to meet you
