Beautiful Day to all from Wyoming
New to this board as of this morning. I have been sewing for roughly 30 years. Taught the basics by Mom and then put them away for awhile--way more interested in stuff that wouldn't stick around. Came back to sewing when my first daughter was born. I went thru the progression of clothes, quilts, clothes, mending, professional seamstress work, mending, sewing whatever I could and now I am back to quilting. I live in a fairly small area and unfortunately I think TV trumps sewing nowdays so it is somewhat hard to find others. I am responsible for getting my mother-in-law addicted to quilting. I have come to terms with this and laugh about it as often as possible. I would love to find a few local(this is relative in Wyoming--those who live here know exactly what I mean) people that love sewing who would like to get together once in a while and just hang out, talk about sewing, do sewing, dream sewing, etc. etc. etc.

Hello Brandy, welcome from northern California! I hope you will be able to find others to get together with. You will enjoy being here and being able to communicate with other quilters and get questions answered etc. It is a very "addictive" place!
