    Default Big Ideas, Little Skill

Hi, I'm Bridgett from western Washington, have 2 brilliant STEM daughters, and have recently retired from medicine. I scrapbook as well, loving the feel of great paper running through my fingers as much as good quality fabrics. I admit to spending more time ACQUIRING and organizing my supplies than actually using them. I'm committed to change this to creation! I've joined this group because I need inspiration and, undoubtedly, advice. Thanks in advance for helping me become a better artist.

I saw this photo on this site, and despite searching (Pinterest, Etsy, quilting sites) cannot find the creator or the pattern. I think it's the most beautiful Christmas quilt I've ever seen. Can anyone help me locate the originator?

Welcome to the QB! You've come to the right place to find all that you've mentioned in your post - I came here 5 years ago as a new quilter and have learned so, so much from the many talented quilters here! And inspiration abounds - be sure to post your creations for us all to admire as well.

Wish I could help source the Christmas Quilt you fancy - it sure is a beauty! Unfortunately, I know nothing about it but wouldn't be surprised if someone else here had more information.

    Welcome aboard!

Welcome from Texas. Looks like you fell in love with a beautiful pattern. bstock found it for you from Bunny Hill Designs. I'm not sure but it looks like quite of bit of trapunto in it to give it that puff on parts of it. Hope you make it & share it with us when it's finished.

    Default Found my tribe!

Oh my gosh, thanks so much to Bridget from Western New York! I hope to someday have a grandbaby, and can only imagine the fun that kid would have searching the complexity of this quilt!!

And thank you all for your responses. I didn't check back here until now, because I don't see timely (or any) responses on most (positive, non-political) sites. I'm sitting in happy discovery that I've found my tribe!

    Signed, Bridgett from Western Washington
