    Hello Pat and welcome from Germany :). May I ask a dumb question? Is minky made from 100% cotton? Or is there no such thing like cooton minky??

    Welcome to the Quilting Board! The picture of you and your granddaughter is adorable! For a warm hug from grandma, there is nothing like this cuddly soft minkee fabric! :D

    I just quilted a fun yummy quilt using cuddle soft for the backing. I have to pin it to my quilt frame the direction that stretches least, and it works great to quilt it up on my longarm!

    How do you handle the stretch when working with strips? Do you quilt as you go? Is the backing fabric minkee too? These are wonderful quilts!

    By the way, I used to babysit your kids! Nice to see you here in cyberspace!
