Design a quilt
Hi,
My name is Chris and I recently purchased a Design A Quilt (Model DAQ-12) from a seller that had a wife that made over 400 quilts. She recently passed away. I am wondering if any one might have a manual on it.

You might have come across this, if you read the comments although not the right number for your search they came with a 12.

Welcome to the QB Chris from SE Michigan! Since someone else has already pointed you in the direction of a possible manual I will take this time to welcome you to a fun and exciting board to learn from. Have fun! Again welcome you to the QB!

Sorry about that -- sometimes I do miss the greetings Hello, waving from a safe personal space away near Seattle.
Hope you stay and join the various conversations and activities, and otherwise, at least have some quality time with your new machine.

I just wanted to say welcome and nice machine. You didn't say if the machine is sewing or has it had time to sit and possibly get frozen. I've not had experience with any of the industrials and my guess would be that a user's manual or service manual would give you the information you need. At one point, there was a link on this site to help find manuals for different models, but most of us have domestic and/or long arm machines for quilting.

Simply lift it off the roller assembly, you'll see the oil pan and the low/high marks. The oil sightglass is simply to make sure there's oil splashing around when it's operating.
