Hi and welcome to the board! I think you can do anything you want and call it anything you want too...its fine with me! I'll just enjoy looking at it, expecially if you'll post some pics! As for the QP...heck, I sure was hoping to see that video

The quilt police are not allowed here and yes, you are a quilter. Welcome to the board. Hand tying sounds just right to me! I think that is what makes quilting such a wonderful hobby. There are so many different aspects (and objectives) of this hobby. For some, it's primarily making a warm blanket and for others it's making a work of art. But, it's all quilting and here it is all admired!!!!

the quilt police wouldnt dare show up on this site. Quilting is what you put into it. Its what makes you feel good. I tie and machine quilt. Mostly I do stitch in ditch. some echo and other easy stuff. Don't care what anyone thinks. Ask My Grandsons, any mistake is special because I made it especially for them. welcome to the best site on the web for quilting, venting, learning and to have a good time. You get all kinds of help even if you feel stupid because you dont know how to do or fix your problem. Believe me I know. Don't I moopi. LOL
