Good morning to all of you in the fabulous world of quilting. I have enjoyed this site and have jumped in to learn more. I have been quilting since the early 80's and had the wonderful privilege to share this journey with my mom. She's quilting in Heaven now but I'm keeping the legacy going on this end. Thanks for all the great tips and fabulous pictures. So much talent in our quilting world. Hurry Spring, it is too cold in East Texas.

Welcome from Texarkana, Texas! It is definitely too cold in Texas these days. The last time I checked a map, Texas was a southern state, but it feels like someone moved us north!!! LOL

This site is wonderful and I have learned so much over the last year and have been inspired more than I can say. Lots of kind, generous, knowledgable and telented folks here.

Hi and welcome from Lubbock, TX. Glad you joined us. :D It's plenty cold here, too. Supposed to warm up to 20* today! Feels like a heat wave, after the last couple of days! :-D

MY daughter emailed me this AM from near Ft. Hood, Texas, and thanked me for my late DH's marvelous down jacket I'd given her own DH. She was wearing it and said with the wind chill factor the temps must be almost down to the big 0. Her car registered 14 degrees and said she had to wait till the inside frost cleared off.

Here in CA it's chilly, windy, now and then rain but some lovely sunshine yesterday. Light sweater weather in mid day, but I had to scrape off the frost at about 7 AM.

Does anyone know any way to prevent fog from forming on the inside of the car windows after the outside windows have been scraped? I did read on an online web that rubbing shaving lotion on glass would stop it. Last time I bought something like that I had the worst case of foggy windows I'd had, ever.
