Welcome to the QB from Cajun Country in South Louisiana. We Cajuns are of French descent by way of Canada (New Brunswick mostly) and France. Our dialect has evolved to Cajun French because of the melding of different cultures of French, Spanish, African, and German. I live in the heart of an area known as Acadiana. We are known for our joi di vive. And many of us love quilting. This board is the place to be for friendship as well as finding inspiration and lots of help.

Hello Valerie, and welcome from New Hampshire. When I was younger, I lived in Germany. We chartered a bus and went to Paris and then took a tour of Mercier's wine cellar in Verdon. Your country is beautiful. This is a wonderful message board. I hope you'll enjoy it here.
