As i have been following the site for a while i wanted to join as i was reading such a lot of useful information and you all sounded so friendly and had a great sense of humor. I hope to be able to help other quilters eventually but for now will just absorb all your wonderful help, ideas and tips!
Isnt it incredible that you can 'talk' to someone at the other end of the world??......just mind blowing!!

Welcome Blahel, to the best of relaxation and talking about it! I'm in North Carolina, USA, on the east coast and I love quilting!
Try to stop by any of our chats, we actually "talk" about quilting sometimes!

Welcome from Spain. I´m currently getting a BOM (Block of the month) sent from Australia all the way here. We have a hard time getting fabrics here so I thought this would be the perfect thing for me.
Ñovely to hear from you, thats some garden LOL My daughter and husband are coming out for the 3rd time to Australia for Christmas as his sister lives out there this will be their 3rd trip, then they are coming to Spain to try it out for a year YIPPEEE Elle

Welcome to this group.. Ive been a member since Feb, 2007 I believe.. I can type with both hands now..Before I sent this message, I was holding my chihuahua puppy(minnie), and trying to type, with one finger on my right hand.. I have 2 chihauhau,(minnie-chico) and 2 pekinese(sable-shaggy) mother/son..They all get up in my sewing area, with me. I have 2 window's with a shelf in front of my sewing machine, and sometimes, all of them, sit there..My chihauhau, are my shadow's..They are with me 24 hrs, a day 8 days a week(ha-ha).. Any how welcome, and hope to see some of your projects..Take care, and again WELCOME..Also, i have a few pictures posted, so if you get time check them out..Take care [email protected]

If any of you have not tried international internet correspondence, I suggest you try it. Exchanges of ideas on patterns, colors, sizes, and hints on how to do detailed steps in quilting flow easily.
I have ejoyed the comments, pictures (which I do not know how to produce and thus print) of work so many quilters are willing to share. I am still fascinated with the patterns from the "Dear Jane" book, and have made several items, including two quilts, using the designs which I have redrafted to 6-in. size, since 4-1/2 inch is too small for me to do easily I would like to see exchanges among those of you who are doing, or have done, these patterns.

You are some busy Mom...If memory serves me, cooking probably takes a lot of your time, with two teenage boys to feed. Teenagers alone can be more than a full time job. So glad you joined and I send you a big Texas welcome. Good luck with your quilting. Enjoy!!!
