Thank you all for your kind words and warm welcome. I look forward to joining in on the fun! And thanks to all of you for your encouragement in my stash building. I guess I'd better go shopping! :D

Hello and welcome, Cheri. Glad you decided to join us. The fabric thing hits us all. You know you're a real quilter when you start building a stash. I always buy more than the pattern calls for; then I know I'll have some left over to add to my stash.

Hi Cheri, I am so glad that you decided to join our group! I am a little late in welcoming you, I must have missed your post due to being displaced after the December flooding. I live just south of you :D Maybe we will run into each other at one of the fabric stores/quilt shops :D

Amma, thanks for the greeting, it's never too late for a welcome greeting. :-) Sorry to hear you were affected and displaced after that terrible storm. Hope all is better for you now. I'm looking forward to the Western WA Shop Hop next week. Won't be traveling as far this year as last (darn gas prices), but don't want to miss even a little bit. Such fun. Hope to see you there! :D

I just checked out the shop hop and it looks like a lot of fun. I don't think I will make all of them either due to gas prices :( However I will be in Vancouver next week and can go to the ones from Portland through Olympia anyway :D thanks for the heads up on this event! :D
