Hey Glenn,
I live over in Athens, Al. and have been hand quilting for several years. I feel that it's so relaxing and stress relieving. So glad to hear that you are injoying the art.

Hi there! Welcome from Michigan. My daughter lives in Madison Al right by the catholic church off Hughes. (I think thats the road. They just moved from Huntsville on Old Madison Pike. It is very nice down there.Where are the quilt stores down there? I found the scrapbook store, antique stores but couldnt find the quilt store> Help!! You will really like this board. Welcome.

I don't know about quilt stores in Huntsville, Al, but there is one in Athens, Al. on S. Jefferson St.

Hi Glenn: Glad you joined us. As others have said, we love pictures so please remember to post some of your work. Again, thanks for your service to our country. My husband was in the Navy during Vietnam. He was aniti-warfare techy on the carriers. Last one was the USS Essex, squadron VS 34 or VS36...so many years ago, I don't remember. Welcome and enjoy learning and I know you'll be teaching all of us, too.
