Good morning, found this website by accident
Good morning everyone. I'm from the great state of North Dakota-currently very cold and snowy. Looking forward to Spring and some warmer weather. I ran across this website while searching Pinterest and thought "finally a quilting forum".
I've been quilting for about 20 years now. Made my first quilt top in high school Home Ec class. Never finished it off as school ended. I ran across that quilt top in my home almost 20 years ago and thought "I either have to finish this or throw it out". I finished it and the rest is history. I'm now addicted to quilting and sewing. I'm all self taught and am constantly learning new patterns/techniques and ideas.
I have a pretty large stash of fabric (can't resist buying new fabrics) and have made tons of quilts and baby blankets. Most I give away to family and friends.
I'm 49 years young, married and have three daughters all married and also have three grandbabies... two of them girls ages 2.5 and 5, and my young man is 8 months old. I love them dearly.

Welcome to the QB from the Sho-Me State - Missouri. My son arrived in ND yesterday for his new job in the oil drilling fields - he has been home since last Thanksgiving - now it is time for him to go back to work. It was way below zero where he was last night - maybe Bismarck or Kildeer.

Karen, So glad you accidentally found us. This is a wonderful place for learning and making new friends. We all love seeing pictures and sharing problems and solutions. Bet it will help make a long winter go by faster. Once again...WELCOME!
