Wow! thanks everyone for your kind comments. The three photographs on this post are of original works - I seldom use commercial patterns anymore. The cat quilt is a redesigned UFO. The bird quilt makes use of previous fabric surface design experiments. The purple abstract is a result of a Larkin Jean Van Horn design method/class called Shattered Circles. Search my blog (link is below) by topics for details of each. I like to try anything new. Thanks for sharing your opinions and welcoming me onboard. :D

greetings from Oregon, I just love Alaska. my hubby and i spent 2 weeks in Nome this past summer...best vaction i ever had..hope to go back this next summer...your quilts are wonderful and thank you so much for sharing them. you have a great talent for quilting..
