Hello and a warm welcome from southeastern West Virginia. I love that you have an animal sanctuary. I do too....but inadvertantly....we live on a farm and have become a "catchall" for unwanted animals. People have dropped over 30 cats on us over the years. I still have 12 of them....all "fixed" and well-fed and loved. Blessings....

Thak you so MUCH for the warm welcome :) Sorry I have not been here of late I am going through both a happy yet bittersweet life change this next week. My beautiful daughter and grand daughters are moving to KY. My Son inlaw is finally home from overseas and is being stationed in KY. My daughter and grand daughters have been living with us while he was stationed in Korea. I am gonna be an "Empty nester" And I think its gonna Kill me :( I tried to set up myu sewing machine and she showed me how to do the basics on it so hopefully I can start machine quilting to keep me distracted. I'll be back on afer we get them packed and on the road. I look forward to getting to know everyone better. Hugs and Blessings from Aransas Pass, Texas.

well met kathy :) I know the feeling. I have 5 acres here, in Ohio I had 14. I try to help everyone who asks with placement of their friends especially military families being relocated where they cannot take their pets. Those who dump animals are simply horrific around here. I have never lived in an area like this, animals are treated horribly here, we have cock fighting and pitt fighting in epidemic porportions here due to what locals refer to as "Cultural priviledges" Thank you for all you do for the animals :) I look forward to chatting again soon. This next week is going to be very busy moving my Kids to KY.
