    Hello, Sue,
We are about 30 miles south of Albany, near Kinderhook and Hudson. I believe Amsterdam is about an hour or so drive from here. Maybe we could figure a central meeting spot and at least meet, if nothing else like quilting. Or could we have forum discussions? How long have you been quilting? Why do you like to quilt? I don't know how to set up a two way conversation on the forum; the chat room is confusing right now, I need to get used to the multiple conversations and speed there. Any thought?

    Hi again DLHW

OK two way private communication is called PM on this board stands for Private message. The easiest way to PM is when you are reading this message see how my name "feline fanatic" is in blue? Click it.
That will take you to my profile page and you will see the blue bolded words "Send PM" This opens up a private message dialog box much like email.

To see if you receive a PM at the top of your screen see where it says "Private Messages" when you have one that area will be highlighted bright yellow. Simply click the link and that will take you to your In box.

Meet and greets happen on occassion. There are two quilt shows coming up in the area. There is Bennington Quiltfest in Bennington Vermont next month, Sept 17 and 18 at the Middle school in Bennington. I usually post a meet up for that.

Then there is Empire Quilt fest in Clifton Park at Shenendehowa High School on Oct 15 and 16. I know we have several QB members who belong to the guild that hosts this so a meet and greet may be done for this as well. You just have to watch for it or you can even start a topic for one.
