[color=darkred]Hello all, I've been reading the newsletter for years and getting tips. I am bedazzled by the quality and beauty of the quilts and the hearts of the folks that create these works of art. I have started a new chapter in my life, retired, move to NM, my mother passing, my youngest child expecting her 1st child so, I thought I'd jump into this quilting as another 1st in my new life. I've sewn for years and created baby quilts mostly. Most of my stuff I've given away, but have many UFOs that I'de like to complete. I am also inspired by all of your quilting creations. Hi Crisco. Welcome to the board. Glad you joined us. You'll fit right in. You're going to love being a granny. It's the best thing in my life so far! I have a 2 1/2 year old grandson who really floats my boat! We're sortof neighbors. I live in Texas!

Welcome Crisco! Some of what I read of your introduction sounds familiar. I too read the newsletter for years before discovering this wonderful place and I am expecting my first grandchild next month. Just four weeks! (Yay!!!!) I look forward to hearing about your adventures and congrats on soon becoming a grandma.
