Hi there, welcome from the UK!

If you do a search for 'baby quilt' on here you will get tons of results, inspiration galore! I like the idea of brown and pink, they go so well together. There are some easy patterns such as 'Warm Wishes' and 'Disapearing Nine Patch' that are popular with us newbies for baby quilts:

easier to do than it looks, here's the one I did too:

Hello and Welcome :D :D :D I have 4 fabrics in pinks and browns sitting here, too...I take them out and play with them...still trying to decide which pattern to use for my granddaughter's quilt. :D

Greetings from Sacramento CA. Baby quilts are great to start with. (smaller and great for simpler patterns)
