About me - I am a 50 something single woman in a long term relationship. Have lived in SW WA for 17 years. Most of my family lives in Washington - both sides of the mountains and we get together frequently. All 4 of us girls (3 sisters) and most of our daughters sew to some extent.

I love to sew, read, cook, garden. I am also involved in historical re-enactment of the fur trade era (mt men/rendezvous). I stay rather busy year round.

Does anyone else live in the SW WA region? Would love to get together with someone else who shares at least some of my passions.

Welcome from Roscoe, Illinois! I am involved in re-enactment in that I host guests at our Macktown Living History Museum here in Rockton. We have A Gathering in April every year. Fun to hear someone else does this too.

I was born in Chelan and raised in Entiat - those in Cashmere and Yakima will know where that is.

Welcome from Central WV....(from WA to WV :) )!
WOW! I didn't realize that there are quite a few WA members on here! :D
One of my goals as a teenager was to visit WA. I would still love to visit, but we generally don't get that far on our yearly vacation! ;)

HI FROM OLYMPIA, WA I DON'T HAVE A WALKING FOOT FOR MY MACHINE, I CAN'T SEE PAYING AROUND $100. FOR ONE, I MAKE DO BY DOING A LOT OF PINNING WHEN I DO MY QUILTING. I DO A LOT OF STIPPLING OR STITCH IN THE DITCH QUILTING. STIPPLING IS MY FAVORITE, RELEAVES A LOT OF STRESS.
