Happily Quilting in Damariscotta Maine
#1
Recently moved back to Maine after living in Calif for 37 years. I took quilting in Home Economics in my high school years 1978-1980 and have fallen in love all over again this past winter. Wow... what a difference 30 years makes... fascinated with fabric cutters and mats compared to pinning pattern pieces and cutting with ordinary scissors from years past. Just finished my first quilt in 30 years, crafting a King size quilt for my mother just in the knick of time for Christmas and have sewn two more quilt tops in the past month.... happy to say "I'm hooked."

Welcome from North Central PA.
Interestingly enough, my DH and I spent some time in Damariscotta several years ago when we spent our vacation in New England. We stayed at a camp ground at Pemaquid Point. It is a beautiful area. When we asked for directions to Pemaquid Point we were told to go to Damariscotta and turn right (I think it was right). Small world, huh?
