Hello from Arkansas
Hi all,
I'll be lightly restoring/learning to use a 31 series Singer over the next few months, and I've signed up so that I can post in the vintage sewing machine wing of the forum. Thanks in advance for any help and hope you can give!

Hi Alf, and welcome from North Carolina!
Sorry I can't help you with vintage machines, but I do have an old treadle one that I can't figure out even though I learned to sew on one like it ...100 years ago!
You will get lots of help from folks here. Just wait a few minutes. Enjoy!

Greetings Alf! I was recently gifted a modern machine but I've spent most of the last 30 years sewing on vintage machines, my own favorite was (is!) a Remington. I used to clean/refurbish vintage machines for a charity that gave them to immigrants and people in need. Back when I was doing it, this site didn't exist but the people who are on the vintage board are awesome!
