I hope she takes interest in quilting, so far she likes the bags and purses I have made for her, she really has an eye for fabrics and is willing to go fabric shopping with me, so maybe the bug will bite.
Thank you for the nice welcome.....qui;ters and horse people really make the best friends.

Hello, and welcome from Missouri! Glad that your daughter is at least interested in fabrics. You gotta start somewhere!

Hello from south Mississippi and I love the quilt. I don't have a teenager anymore but let me tell you what my daughter said to me the other night.
Mom, do you realize I own 20 quilts, what am I going to do with them. My reply was what are you going to do with the 30 I have here once I die.
I've been quilting for a while. I give a lot of them away. To schools to raffle off, to churches, to wounder soliders and family. My family doesn't really know the appreication that should follow a work of art.
I love to buy fabric.....ladies on this message board have told me a lot of great web sites and I've gone there and bought. I collect Santa fabric, I'm made one I spy Santa and have enough fabric for 3 more. I'm nuts
