Welcome to the board! Oh I've been there, worked full time, Mom, went to college and quilted!! I just set aside time each evening 1/2 hour or so to do my thing. Sometimes I didn't get time or sometimes I only got 15 min. But it was worth it. I would always plan out my next step before leaving my sewing - so I knew where to start as soon as I got back to it.

welcome from Maine. I loved the Blue Mountains and met several quilters there. I stayed at the hostel there and did some treking thru the canyon and climbed the 3 sisters. It is beautiful there.

Welcome from another Aussie, boy have you come to the right place, the members of this board are so helpful and encouraging, nothing seems to be too much trouble. I have come to the conclusions that if you need to know anything about any type of sewing, someone here will have the knowledge or know where to find the information.

You are a very busy mom, and I know it's hard to carve out time for yourself, but even a half hour or so you can accomplish a lot, you'd be surprised. Welcome from Lowell, MA. I've always wanted to travel to Australia since I was a kid, but I probably won't make it. When I had the money I had no time and now I have time but no money. My aunt loved it when she went to visit her daughter several years ago, before Lorna moved back to CA, so I got to see some photos. Happy quilting.
