Welcome from the Northern Neck of Virginia I'm just a few months new myself and have learned so much from reading posts on this forum - the exchange of information is priceless. I agree that Jenny Doan from Missouri Star Quilt Co puts super fun and simple to follow projects on her YouTube weekly. I also like the Craftsy website for quilting classes - so many to choose from and plenty to learn there. I'd also recommend any of the swaps on this forum - lots of fun exchanging with others. Good luck and be sure to post pics!

welcome from Ft. White, Fl. My grandma helped me make my first big quilt in the 80's. I have always pieced baby quilts for the new nieces and nephews and I am now attempting my first king size. You will enjoy this board.

Welcome from OHIO! Ditto the advice on watching Missouri Star Quilt Co's Jenny on YouTube. As questions arise, just ask on this board and you'll get plenty of help and encouragement. Welcome to the wonderful world of quilting!

Welcome! Don't overlook your local library. I think it was Carol Doak who authored a book called "Your First Quilt Book, and if It isn't, it should be" . Take a look at a few of the books by Harriett Hargrave. She and her daughter authored a few that may help you.
