Hello,
I am from California. I love to sew, and have been sewing for MANY years, and have made many things for my daughter and myself. I wanted to learn to quilt, so I took a handpiecing and handquilting class about 3 years ago. I wasn't sure about the handpiecing, because I LOVE my machine. But....I loved the handquilting.
I find it very relaxing, although my stitches are far from perfect, maybe even good. I did make a baby quilt for my grandson that I machine quilted and because I didn't really know much about machine quilting, I just did it and it came out okay......But, I would love to learn so much more. I have been a little distracted since my quilting classes, but the desire is there and I am trying to focus. By coming to this site I am being inspired.
