You're right about all the new techniques as well. I can remember cutting cloth with scissors for Pete's sake! You can definitely make a quilt more quickly and easily than you used to -- all of sewing is easier too. I just got my first computerized sewing machine, and I'm still learning what it can do. We have fun in the land of quilting!
