I am a 52 year old mother of 3 and have three wonderful granddaughters; I have been a member of this quilting board for a few months. I enjoy reading all the post and looking at all the beautiful quilts. I learned how to quilt when I was 10 years old; my grandmother taught me. I love quilting, it is very relaxing for me. ;)

Hello from California. I also learned at a young age. The first class I took with mom was when I was 12. It's great having that history and coming back to it later. Have you been quilting continuously since 10, or did you drop it and start up again later? I was inactive from about 14-19 and now I'm 26 and completely ADDICTED to the creativity of it all!
