Hello Nevada: Thank you for the welcome. Every day is a good day to quilt, right?

Market Hall? Thank you. I never thought of that as a resource but will follow through on that and let you know of my finds.

A lot of stores buy at Market Hall. The Hall also has a lot of shows open to the general public. When I lived up there, I loved to tour the business up and down Harry Hines. Have found wonderful bargains and unusual stylish fabrics, home decor and art. I'm sure there's a lot of information on the internet these days. It's now possible to checkout so much on google maps, so you could become familiar with the streets before you actually go down there! I've been in the country so long now, if I see 10 cars at one time, I call it rush-hour!

Hey Azle: Love your pooch's photo. Can't get my kitties to sit still long enough for good photos. Spending lots of time on-line looking for good quilt info. Maybe I'll pick up my camera in a bit. Love seeing there are so many quilters in Texas. I'll have to look into the big quilt meetings that I know they have each year in Texas. Only went to one in Waco, Texas about 7-8 years ago. Enjoyed it -- but just know I would love to plan to go to a big state meeting. New to this all and have been to two quilt guild meetings locally -- LOVED EVERY MINUTE.

Your info is spurring me on to get in touch with Market Hall and find out when I can go there. I have heard there are fabric outlets on Inwood Street, and will find out where they are too. Tax time means a few more pennies to buy fabric!!! Totally going to follow up with Market Hall as a resource. I live just off of highway #635 and long for quiet.

Hello Lubbock: That quilt is splendid! Oh, I would be so happy to be able to perfect my quilting skills to that point. Only 27 degrees here right now. How about you guys?

    Hi Michigan:

We're not suppose to be having "your" kind of weather down here. Lots of sunshine but don't know what is up with 28 degrees. That encourages me to make quilts my family can use and not just ones to hang on the wall.
