    I also agree with the not washing fabric unless you feel might run, like a red or royal blue and black. Enjoy!

    thanks for the advice. Every book that I have read says wash before anything else but I actually like the feel of new fabric straight off the bolt. Pleased to know that I won't be breaking any rules.
