There have been a couple of threads recently about people not being able to join in with chat - try the search engine, 'Problems with Chat' and you might find the answer to your particular problem, or at least a couple of things you could try.

Welcome from Southern California, just north of San Diego. I was in your country a couple of years ago for the first time. I love it. My ancestry is Swedish and German. I have been quilting (mostly applique) for about 15 years and it is my passion in life. I just hope I can live long enough to use up some of my beautiful fabrics.
If you have questions about anything quilting related, this is the place to get answers. It is the most friendly form around and everyone is so eager to share their knowledge.
Again, welcome.

Oh Loretta, I don't think it would be fair to just restrict our club to Brits - it started out as one for those of us who were a little overweight, and of a certain age (over 50), so that has widened the scope a little more! (oh, and I think some of us had colour in our hair, though mine is just plain grey).
