Hi Joanne and welcome from an English woman now living in France! I'm technically a Lancastrian as I was born in Blackpool  but my Mother's family were from the Bradford area, Idle, Pudsey and Keighley mainly! My Grand parents had a farm at Greengates in Idle - my Mother always says she saw an 'Idle Child'!

:D Thank you all for such a lovely welcome from all over the planet!
I would love to meet up with fellow quilters with a date that's convenient for all.
As soon as I work out how, and reloaded my piccys onto the computer (hubby has done an upgrade 'thing' whatever it's called) I'll post some photos.
My favourite quilt that I've made is my son's hand stitched Battalion Quilt with all his Regimental symbols appliqued on. He loves it and I'm just so proud of it and him.
Just bought some more red, white and blue for another Patriotic quilt for another QOV, and have some Union Jack flag fabric left to add a bit in. Plus I've still got to finish my sister's Christmas present quilt, and also start on my son's new quilt.
So much quilting to do... not enough hours and certainly not enough hidey places to keep my secret stash... as well as the pile thats on the dining room table!
