Welcome from another bear lover in Texas. I find bears, like my cats and dog, are trustworthy "assistants" in all aspects of quilting. The cats are my "exercise trainers", as they make me do contortions to find my thimbles, and pincushions, and they show me alternate arrangements of blocks. The dog and the bears are all wonderful quilt testers.

I live just South of Polk County - we are almost neighbors!
Welcome - with fabric and your machine in hand - you can't be lonely - you have your "friends" with you to create for others. I make lap robes for hospice patients, Project Linus and quilts for my family.

Welcome from California. What's not to like about Teddy Bears. I make them and their clothes. A member of our family also thought it was silly for grown person to collect Teddy's but she dressed dolls! Love them Teddy's. Have you made them their own quilt?

No I haven't made them a quilt, but my two grandchildren got me a throw with teddies on it and the ones I got on my bed get covered with that. But I love your idea! That will be one more thing my kids think crazy, but I need to keep them thinking!
