    I have always wanted to quilt as a little girl. My grandmother said she would teach me when I got older, but she died when I was 7 years old. I have all my dad's neckties (he's been gone to glory for 7 years now.), and I want to take all his ties and make quilts for myself and my 4 siblings. The problem is, I never learned the first thing about quilting! Can someone, anyone help me, please?!

    Welcome! I'm not a teacher but some one here will have a good idea for a quilt to start with!
