Welcome from the coastal region of SC, formerly from Charlotte. Spring might actually be around the corner -- I saw a crocus and a daffodil blooming yesterday as I walked my dog... I, too, love the quilt board, but I find that I spend more time reading and browsing the board than I do actually quilting! Since I'm new at quilting, I'm fascinated by all the ideas, photos, and talents it's easy to lose myself in all that's here...Anyway...WELCOME!!

Hi and welcome neighbor!!! I am just east of you (in the Summerfield section of Rockingham County). You will get so much help on this board that you will become an accomplished quilter pretty quickly .... assuming you stop reading it once in a while and actually do some sewing. lol Lots of great ideas for quilts also. Have fun!!!

So you live in Guilford College? We used to live in Greensboro near NW High School and moved to Oak Ridge about 10 years ago.
Are you in a quilting guild or do you ever take classes?
