The first time I FMQ was on my daughters memory quilt. I made a heart template and used a disappearing marking pen and quilted hearts on it. Since then I have discovered continuous line stencils and the pounce pad.

Hi and welcome from Southern California! This is a great place, as you probably already have noticed, to get great advice and inspiration on anything to do with quilting.
