Welcome to the Board! I'm in Pensacola, FL. There are shops in Tallahassee if you need to shop in person. Otherwise, I recommend saving yourself the long trips and shopping online for fabric. There are lots of great shops and you can sign up for email from them. They will let you know their latest deals/sales going on.

If you use the Search engine here on the Quiltingboard (top of the page) you can look up shopping for fabric and other subjects of interest to find out more that you imagined was out there!

Thanks for the welcome from Spain. Yes, I would like to know some reliable shops on the web. The closest shop to me is Joann's and it's 40+ miles away. Thanks for the help.

I'm about 3 hours from Tallahassee but we just don't get down that way - did when the daughter was in Fla. State but not now. Do you have a favorite on line shop? Appreciate the welcome and the help.

Thanks for the welcome - I'm still a bit nervous about putting pictures up but will give it a try before long.

Welcome SW Georgia! What is the name of your town? My Alabama family (where I am from originally) is from that neck of the woods and my parents used to live outside of Dothan! Welcome to the Board!

Thanks for the welcome. I live in Americus, Ga. We are about 60 miles from Columbus and the same from Macon and 40 miles north of Albany. Wouldn't want to live anywhere else but could use a decent fabric shop closer to home.
