Hello from Germany
Hi,
my name is Barbara and i have a little 6 year old daughter and we come from Hermeskeil, near Trier; Germany. I'm a newbie in Patchwork & Quilt but i love sew (clothes for my Daughter) and other things, like knitting or cooking.
My new love is Patchwork and i use the paper piecing-method

Oh yes ManiacQuilter. I hope you see your german freinds or still have contact?
I have german friends in the USA and in Canada. But we don't have seen us for a long time :-/ we call or talk with skype.
My To-Do-List is very long....and longer...and very longer.
I love Stars and the Cathedral Windows! For the Cathedral Windows i'm searching other Variations or techniques. I have seen Pictures in Pinterest, i fell in love

Welcome from New Hampshire! I am also interested in Cathedral Windows. I want to make a coverlet with matching pillows shams. It is on my very long list of things I would like to make. Years ago, I lived in Hanau, West Germany for several years. I hope you'll enjoy it here.

Another warm welcome from Southern California! We also have friends in Berlin and Postdam! My husband and I were able to visit them last September. It was such a fantastic vacation I can hardly wait to return.
