Hello, I am from Lake Worth, Fl and make t-shirt quilts
#21
forgot to add that after to sew one row to trim them at the bottom, they will be somewhat uneven due the shirts stretching a bit when you sew them. I lay the row down and use a long ruler and trim the bottoms before sewing to the next row. The first time I made one I was surprised at how much I needed to trim! They won't be perfectly square like a regular quilt.

How beautiful. I have all my boys ball shirts from when they were little and I would love to make them into quilts for them. Is it hard? I've just started quilting and can't imagine making one out of a t-shirt.

It just so happens that Friday night I saw the box of their T-shirts in my storage room and thought about why I had kept them. I was going to have someone make me 2. But since I have started learning to quilt I'm going to do it myself. Then I saw your posting and now I know how!!! they have some from T-ball, basketball and scouting. Its should be very colorful.
