    thank you so much for the suggestion. In fact, I just finished a 9 block for charity. IT was very easy. So, good suggestion.

    thanks for the suggestion. that is one I had not thought about and would be easy to work in with the fabric I have.

    Hi I used to live in Roxborough, quite near Philly. Try this link
    http://www.fatcatpatterns.com/cats_&_dogs.htm she has some wonderful patterns for free and can be done in machine applique which is fun and easy.
