    Default Hello from Illinois

My name is Elizebeth spelled with a e after the z and not an a. Auto-correct is trying to change it to a now. Life long computers and people trying to correct the spelling of my name.

I have been making quilt and wall hanging on and off for at least 35 years. Having to go to work and support myself put a hold on lot of the crafts I did. But I am retire now and getting back into quilting and crafting.

Just recently started doing paper piecing. Still trying to figure out the joining of different sections.

I, also, try to go to the YMCA 2 -3 times a week and do the weight training and go to the SilverSneakers classes. Do we have any Silver Sneakers members here.

    Looking forward to meeting everyone.
    Elizebeth

Hi, from FL.. My D grandson and D granddaughter in law named their little girl Lyla. I told them it should be Lila because the teachers would spell it with an I, like they did with my friend. Auto-correct didn't correct me. Have fun on this site. My DH does the exercising in this family, Cross-Fit for him. LOL

Welcome, "Elizebeth"! To stop auto correct have you tried putting your name in quotation marks? I still get it underlined in red, but not changed.
On joining paper pieced sections, leave the paper on the edge to be joined so you can pin through the matching seams more accurately.
