I'm from Texas, new to quilting just been doing it a couple of years now all has been self taught. I'm curious as to what the jelly rolls are used for.

Hi, NannieB! Welcome from the very cold state of Georgia! We have a lot in common...I am also self-taught and decided to get together with this group to perfect my skills. I have already learned so much just by reading the various topics and the members here are very friendly and helpful. You will enjoy it very much!

Welcome from Illinois. I'd say you can use jelly rolls for anything that requires strips. Check out the Moda Bake Shop website. They have suggestions for all types of precut fabric.

Hi and welcome from the greater Los Angeles area. Jelly rolls are great for any strip patterns. My daughter recently made a log cabin with them.
