Hello, I'm a newbie :)

Hi! After reading the board I decided it was time to join. I'm 25 and living in Belgium and I have 2 main hobbies: painting and sewing. I want to make a quilted bag so all your tips are very welcome right now

Welcome to the Quilting Board! What a great combination of hobbies. Painting on fabric can be used to accent quilted bags and quilts themselves. I love painted quilts. Sadly, I am not good with paint and the most I've been able to accomplish is to stencil some fabrics.

Welcome from Orange County, CA, it's nice to hear about your interest in quilting at your age. I will be interested in hearing about your quilting adventures with us. I think you will find the QB to be a great resource to get answers to questions from not only live people, but from seasoned quilters.
