That is lovely. Really looks beautiful on your bed. I'm from Illinois Just 7 miles west of Midway Airport.

    Good luck with your project.

Welcome to the group! I am new to quilting...just started my first one.
I, too, used to be a Hoosier. I, too, used to live VERY close to Lafayette. We were from the Colfax area. Our kids all went to Clinton Prairie. We are now living in Arkansas. The woods are beautiful in every season although I really don't love the snow here...makes mountain travel nearly impossible.

I love the colors in your quilt. My first one is all different colors...using what I have, basically.

    Hi Marilyn

Glad to hear from another gal from Arkansas. I was born & raised in Springdale. Moved up here to get a job when I was 21. Been here ever since. Have 5 children and have been a widow over 30 years.

    Have a good one.

Beautiful! Looks like you quilted on regular sewing machine and used a fancy stitch. I quilt on a regular machine but have never used the fancy stitch. Will try it. Wonderful job.
