Hi, I am from Marshalltown Iowa. I am newly retired and live in the country on an acreage for the past 35 years. We have 4 children and 9 grandchildren. I have been sewing one thing or another since my Aunt, Grandma, and Mom taught me to do embrodery when I was 6. Now I do mostly quilting and have to have a project going all of the time, sometimes more than one. Happy Quilting

Hi Ann, Just joined this morning as you know and just got your massage. How are you liking Germany? I was there in 1964 - 1966. Long time ago, in Nurnberg and worked at the Palace of Justice. What is your favorite quilt block?

Hi GrammyP, I think that I will probabley be a regular here too. I have been to this site several times, people are friendlier here. My grandson in law was raised in Alabama and his grandparents still live ther but I can't remember where. Nice to meet you, lily

Hi Murphy, Nice to meet you. I was just in Ames last week to the Quilt shop, where else. I like going there instead of JoAnns, because the fabric I got there was not up to par. What is your favorite block? lily
