    it depends on where you are going to put it. I would lean toward a brown border myself.

    Thanks for commenting. I pieced it together today and will take it with me Shopping. I’m leaning towards the brown but don’t have any more teal to do as others suggested, but I’ll look.

    It it is a gift for my mother-in-law who likes owls. She just moved into assisted living for memory care. Someone will need to remind her she likes owls 🦉

    Welcome from S. California....cool looking quilt and fabric....teal or green (I cannot tell from pic which color it is) to tie in to quilt top but you may find yourself doing multiple borders using some of that navy in the center panel too....so you'll need to audition the fabrics when shopping. Local quilt shop (LQS) should have great advice with the real life version in front of them.
