    Hi! My name is Ashley, and am finding quilting to be one of the best hobbies to have. I started quilting about eight months ago on a whim- I started making a baby quilt for a good friend's new baby girl. Afterwards, I started just making more quilts, from a studying quilt throw for myself (to get used to doing Calculus and Hydraulics ;0) ), to quilts being made for very close friends, I did it. I have found it to be an absolute joy and calming hobby. I am now working on a queen size black, white, and gold quilt, which should be interesting when I'm done.

    Hi and welcome from western, Ky. Which part of Ky are you in? We have several quilters on the board from Ky. BTW I love your quilt, I've not seen one like that before.
