Hi Mike! I live in Vegas. Do you like the Desert Quilters? I haven't joined them yet, but need to! You must live near Quiltique--my FAVORITE LQS! They must have been the one QuiltsRfun saw in the magazine. There are some awesome male quilters on this board. Welcome.

Hello and Welcome from Northern Indiana ! Glad you joined us
I think you will be surprised at the number of men here on the board  More then you might think  And very talented ! I was just in Vegas last year and had a blast. Made my dad spend time almost every day looking at quilt stores

Let's hear it for all the men quilters out there. Sometimes I think they're more bold in their designs than us women -- think Ricky Tims and Kaffe Fassett. Maybe it's the testosterone. :) I try to get my husband interested in quilting cause he's so good with design and color. So far all I get are opinions and suggestions. But I guess that's something.

Well hello and welcome.
I too am from Las Vegas, lived there for about 25 years before I left. I have lived in Colorado for about 20 years and (I can't beleive I am going to say this) I MISS THE HEAT! I use to go home once a year just to thaw out and injoy some warmth.
I can also remember when Flamingo street was only 2 lanes and had dirt onboth sides.
Welcome to the board and we don't care what your sex is, you are still a quilter!
